Hope Elizabeth Schafer is a middle child of four, born and raised in the great state of Oklahoma. After living and studying in Chicago for six years and quarantining in Oklahoma, Hope now lives in New York City!
Hope graduated from the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt University with a BFA in musical theatre. Since graduation she has spent the better part of the last few years performing regionally across the country. Hope was last seen on stage at Playhouse on The Square in Memphis, TN. Upcoming performances consist of a concert at Feinstein’s/54 Below (just as soon as y’all put your masks on!) and a contract with Post Playhouse in Nebraska where she previously played Mary Poppins in 2019. Here is a video of her “feeding the birds”:
Some of Hope’s favorite things consist of nature adventures, bold fashion choices, cities, her incredible friendships, and her dogs! …Also, anyone else’s dogs. Throughout her time in quarantine Hope learned how to skateboard, string a tennis racket, got a bike, and became an adoring mother to 11 new plants. Her plants are thriving, she’s not bragging it’s just the truth.
